Few and Far

So it's clear that my posts are few and far between.

I think that's to be expected during the holiday season. But it seems like it's more to me. I have been posting sporadically for a while now.

I have things to say. I just don't think anyone wants to read them. And that's OK.

I started this blog for myself.

To write.

To process.

To heal.

Anyone who stumbles through is welcome to read and comment if they are moved to. But it isn't necessary.

I had thoughts of shutting this space down.

There comes a time when you reach a point and go, "What the fuck am I doing this for?"

I know that I will never be a rich and famous Blogger.

I don't plan on writing a book.

I don't plan on doing reviews.

I don't plan on doing giveaways.

I don't have a meme or link-up for everyone to join in on.

What I do have is my stories.

My life.

Past, present and future.

Daily life has been crazy lately but hopefully I can keep my posts from being so far and few.

Just let your blogging be whatever you want it to be. It doesn't have to be any one thing. I have a another friend who has a blog and is also very sporadic. Even more so than you. She too says she often thinks she doesn't have anything to say worth reading. I keep telling her, and I'll tell you too, that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I think probably the only people who read every single one of my posts are my mother and my BFF. Just blog. Who knows what could come of it?

The biggest thing right now is finding and making time to blog.

Isn't that everyone's problem, though?

With the new year looming, things are about to get crazy busy around here.

So, I guess blogging will remain sporadic, for now.

And I think that's OK.

I agree with Jenn. Just write, Mama. Not many people read my blog either, but I keep writing. Not for them, not for the potential, but because it fills a need in me, like yours does you.

You know I'm always here if you need me, and even tho I miss one here and there, I always make my way over to see what you have to say.

Sigh. I am bad at commenting.

I've been reading your posts but not commenting. And for that I'm sorry.

I need to make time every night to read and comment on other blogs. And also make time to write.

I'll get there, eventually.

Hello MA Mom,
I'm in exactly the same situation as you. In fact, I just opened my pathetic little blog to write a post, only to find Blogger telling me that my last post was back in July!! WTH! Oh well, we should not worry at all about how this looks to 'other people', and just write whatever and whenever we want!!!
