Ponderings of a Middle-Aged Mom: About Me

My name is Stasha. Pronounced with a long A. Like Stay-sha. I know, not the most common name in the world. It is unique. And it's one of the things that makes me, me.

I am a 30 something, married Mom. I have been with my husband, Randall, for almost 11 years. Together we have a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Kaylee.

I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio (GO REDS and BENGALS!).

In the years that Randall and I have been together, we have lived in several different places, ranging from Texas to where we currently live now, the Pacific Northwest. To be more specific we are just outside of Tacoma, Washington.

You have to have a special place in your heart for rain if you live out this way. It rains constantly.

I've been a stay at home mom for a few years now. I love being a SAHM but there is part of me that misses getting out into the world and interacting with people. I was a manager at McDonald's up until Kaylee was born. Never a dull moment in fast food. I will have to share some of my horror stories!

My dream is to someday open up my own restaurant. Not fast food, something more along the lines of 'home cooked comfort food'.

I want the type of restaurant that someone would visit then send an email to the Food Network and contact 'Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives' because my food is just so amazing!

I am shy and quiet in real life... That doesn't translate into the online world so much. For some reason I am WAY more outgoing online. I speak my mind easier through written word. That's just one of the few weird things about me...
